Fort DeSoto has so much to offer: 7 miles of waterfront, sugar white sand, historic fort, fishing piers, snackbars, picnic areas, camping and a 12 foot wide 4 mile long asphalt recreational trail for walking, biking and skating. Paddlers like it too!

(BC21 Spoil Island Campsite) BC 21 is a primative camp site spoil island with no facilities. There is a sandy landing on the south west side, with a protected place to set up your tent.

(Ft. Desoto Campground Campsite) Beautiful, full facility campground. Many tent campsites are on the water with good beach landing sites. Warning. Many sites are booked as far as 6 months in advance. 10% are reserved for walk-ins. Reservations 727-582-2267. 2 tents per site.

(Fort DeSoto Park Campsite) The campsite must be occupied by the Pinellas County resident making the reservation. Picnic tables, grills, water, electricity, washers, dryers, sanitary disposal stations, modern restrooms, showers, play areas, and a camp store
